Carri Mundane/‘Cassette Playa’ who has worked with musicians M.I.A, the British female rapper and New Rave electro band the Klaxons. Both have been dressed by and have had videos styled by Carri Mundane. She is also Fashion editor of Super Super magazine, where she communicates her fictitious world and pixelated characters that inspire young new rave style slaves.
Cassette Playa is about hacking reality, “a hallucinogenic infection/krayola infection, a world where lasers lace the sky, then zoom in on a backstreet, where a future street gang of pixel warriors are making their way home across the city.” (Rendez-Vous, 2007)
